Natural Hair Removal using Nad's Natural Sugar Wax
Nad's Natural Sugar Wax is ideal for long lasting hair removal for sensitive skin. Follow these tips for the best results.
Ingredients
Sugar Wax Ingredients: Sucrose, Aqua (Water), Phoenix dactylifera (Date) fruit extract, Acetum (Vinegar), Citrus limon (Lemon) juice, Caprylic/Capric triglyceride, Citric acid
Pre-Wax Cleansing Soap Ingredients: Sodium palmate*, Sodium cocoate*, Aqua, Glycerin*, Lavendula spic'a (Lavender Spike) oil, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea Nut) butter*, Argania spinosa (Argan) kernel oil*, Sodium citrate. *Derived from organic oils.How to Use
- Wash your hands. Thoroughly clean the area to be treated using the Nad's Pre-Wax Cleansing Soap. Ensure all oils, makeup and moisturisers are removed and then wipe skin completely dry.
- Apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of hair growth. Hair should be at least 3-5mm (1/8 - 1/4 inches)long.
- Immediately place strip over the wax. Using the palm of your hand firmly smooth over the strip 3-4 times in direction of hair growth.
- Holding skin taut with one hand, quickly pull strip off in the opposite direction of hair growth. The quicker you pull the strip back the more effective the hair removal. Remember to hold skin taut with the other hand and to pull close to the skin rather than away from the skin.
- Use warm water to remove any residue from the skin if necessary.

Warnings and Precautions
- KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
- Before each use, follow the directions to test the wax on a small area of skin you wish to treat. If after 24 hours, there is no adverse reaction, proceed with full application.
- Not suitable for use on the scalp, nipple, perineal or genital areas.
- May not be suitable for the elderly or diabetics.
- Do NOT use if you are on any medication which can affect the skin or if undergoing any of the following dermatological treatments: topical retin A, skin peel, dermabrasion or laser resurfacing.
- Do NOT use on sunburnt, dry, flaky, broken or irritated skin or over warts, pimples, moles, varicose veins or wounds or if you have previously experienced adverse reactions to waxes.
- Do NOT use directly after a shower. Wait at least 15 minutes, until skin is dry and moisture-free.
- Allow 24 hours before using antiperspirant, perfume or astringent lotion on the treated area.
- It is normal for skin to appear red after waxing. If discomfort or a burning sensation is experienced, apply a cold compress to the area. If sensation
persists, seek medical advice.
- Do NOT store in the bathroom. Store in a dry environment and away from direct sunlight.
- Wax may become ineffective if it comes into contact with water.
PRE-WAX CLEANSING SOAP
- Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs rinse with water. If irritation persists seek medical advice.

Yes, all Nad's Hair Removal products are cruelty-free.
This depends on which area you are treating - the more sensitive the area, the smaller the treated area should be. In very sensitive areas, we recommend you do not put on more than 2 to 3 cm at a time. Whereas if it is the bikini line, you can treat large patches up to 10 cm.
Simply rinse the cotton wax strips in warm water and allow for them to dry before re-using.
One of the benefits of waxing over shaving is that hair is removed by the root, meaning it will take longer for hair to grow back. The length of time varies by individual, but typically hair will re-grow between 4-6 weeks after waxing.
You should only need to wax every 3 to 6 weeks. Wait at least 24 hours before waxing again. Do not wax the same area twice in a single waxing session.
When using a Sugar Wax, Gel Wax or Hard Wax, the hair needs to be at least 2-5mm in length.
When using a Wax Strip, the hair needs to be at least 2-5mm in length.

A pimply rash is quote common and is the skin's reaction to having hair pulled from the root.
If the skin has been removed then it is not being held taut and also the strip is being applied over the same spot more than once. Also, if the skin is excessively dry; this could make the skin susceptible to tearing if waxed.
Bruising may be a result of either applying too thick a layer of gel or not holding your skin taut enough. Whilst this is rare, bruising may occur in some situations as a result of;
- applying the gel too thickly. It is important to apply a thin layer of gel to prevent the product from tugging the skin when the strip is removed
- failing to hold the skin taught when removing the strip. It is important to keep the skin taut to minimise movement of the skin and hence prevent bruising
- diabetes. Diabetics are prone to bruising due to poor blood circulation
- Pre existing skin or circulatory issues.
NOTE: If you have a skin condition, always check the recautions in the instruction leaflet to ensure yours is a suitable skin type.
The Cotton Strips have been designed to be washed and reused. Simply hand wash the used Cotton Strips in warm, soapy water and lay flat to air dry. You can also fold a used Strip in half and warm between you hands to re activate the wax. This can be done multiple times until no longer effective.
There are a number of reasons why bruising, swelling and/or irritation may occur so it's important to ALWAYS read the precautions and perform a patch test before treatment to ensure you're skin is suitable.
- Here are some of the things to look out for. Refer to the precautions for more information.
- Are you a diabetic/take oral retinoids(antibiotics)/is your skin very inelastic or dry? If so, you should not be using this product. For a detailed explanation of suitable skins types, you should refer to our instruction leaflet.
- Did you remember to keep the skin taut as you pulled the strip off? This is essential to prevent bruising/swelling/irritation.
- Did you pull the strip up rather than close to the skin? This can cause bruising/swelling/irritation.
- Did you go over the same area more than twice on your face? Do not re-wax the area if your skin is irritated.
- Did you use the product just before or during your period? Your skin is really sensitive during this time and I wouldn’t recommend waxing until after your period. You will find that it will be a far less painful experience then.
- Was the hair very long? We advise to trim the hair to 5mm, as longer hair will be more painful to remove and you might experience bruising/swelling/irritation.
NOTE: It's quite normal to experience a little redness or spots after waxing, especially if you're new to it. Always perform a patch test in the area to be treated and wait at least 24 hours to ensure any redness subsides before proceeding with waxing.
Pulling hair from the root can cause some discomfort with some individuals. We recommend to avoid waxing the sensitive areas during or on the days leading up to menstruation.
We recommend ensuring that the tattoo has completely healed first and to complete a small test patch on the area before full treatment.
Yes, this Nad's Hair Removal product is Vegan.
Hair may not come out if:
- You use the Nad’s Soothing & Finishing oil wipes before using the wax.
- The area was not clean, dry and oil-free.
- Your skin was not held taut.
- You did not pull off in the opposite direction of hair growth.
- If you slowly pulled or dragged the wax off.
- If your hair was shorter than 3mm. The wax will not grip onto shorter hair.
The product is affected by humidity and age. If the product is only used occasionally, the product may become crystallised before using the entire jar. If water, steam or foreign materials enter the product, they will also cause a change. To rectify this, follow these steps:
- Place the jar in the microwave (with the lid and ALL the foil seal removed) on high
- Watch for the product to start to boil. Stop the microwave.
- Take the jar out of the microwave (MAKE SURE YOU USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AS THE PRODUCT IS AT BOILING POINT)
- Stir a couple of times and let it COOL to ROOM TEMPERATURE
- Gel is now ready to use and should be back to its original consistency.

Just a quick note to say I’ve been waxing my legs (or having them waxed until several years ago when I could no longer afford it) for several decades, and had tried a sugar wax salon in Paris once. That’s what led me to try Nads sugar wax kit when I noticed it on the shelf at CVS.
At any rate, I just tried it and am completely sold! I love the fact there’s no heating and no dealing with the wax residue, which is so annoying to remove from skin and more. I also love the cotton strips and tried washing them as suggested. Amazing, so eco-friendly this solution! I will never go back to regular wax.

I tried it on my arms.it pulled out almost all hairs about 80% but left some hairs which I have to shave afterwards. Its easy to use and easy to remove from skin. Overall experience is satisfactory.

I’ve been wanting to try this! Usually I get the wax in the cup by bliss but this is so much easier to use and it feels really nice after I wash off all the sugar. This is not wax! Which is a plus because after you’re done waving you have to use the wax remover and sometimes there is always residue. This is just sugar so I just hop in the shower and gone! I’ve tried this the times now and every time there’s been nothing left to rinse off. Would recommend to anyone! You do have to get a knack for sugar waxing but it’s literally almost the same as regular wax.

Omg!!! I’ve been exploring different ways of removing leg hair and on a whim I bought the Nads sugar wax from the warehouse. Omg it’s amazing! I'm a regular for bikini waxes, this was my first time waxing myself at home (well I had a friend wax me). I didn't wax my bikini I waxed my underarms. The wax was easy to put on, the clothes are soft. She did have some issues with getting all my under arm hair off with one application which made the 2nd attempt much painful. But, overall I liked the results. I'm waiting to see how long it takes for my hair to grow back. I'm one that has to shave daily. A tip to help decrease pain, is to immediately apply pressure to the area, it helps with the stinging sensation. Overall, I will continue to use this product at home for my under arms. I'm now waiting for my "mustache," lol to grow a little more so I can see how this wax does for my upper lip. I only gave it 4 stars because of the multiple applications to get all the hair removed.

Okay, so its almost spring time and almost shorts season. It's always a little embarrassing for me to have hairy legs peeking out. This sugar wax arrived just in time. The packaging is very simple and easy to read. Inside comes with reusable strip, applicators and the wax itself in its own container. Wax was easy to spread you do not have to heat it! Application was a breeze and so was removal of hair. Best part is if you spill the wax on your clothes a little water gets it right out. Highly recommend!

I surprised how easy this was to use . At first I used the wax room temp after washing with the provided soap. It did remove some hair . But it worked at lot better after I warmed it up some as suggested because it is pretty thick . It was easy to apply . The best part is the strips are washable and reusable which saves money - trees . I only tired on my armpit hairs to start . I have issues with blackheads under my armpits and folliculitis so it is best for me to use this type of hair removal vs a raiser.

I bought this product on a whim while I was searching for an alternative to shaving and actually forgot about it during a move. This wax was very easy to use. I used the wax on my legs and I was very happy with the results. The instructions were very easy to follow and it was only a little painful. The wax removed about 95% of the hair. I like how big the strips are and they you can wash them to use again. My legs were a little red after use but that went away shortly after.

It works very well. I've never had a wax that was so noticeably natural and one that I could fully trust on my body for a Brazilian. It was so easy to use and the best part is it didn't leave me with any bumps; and I did it MYSELF. I constantly got irritation bumps from going to get waxed in wax centers. This wax is easy to apply and the cloth strips are a decent size to help with removal. I had good success with my leg hair but struggled with the underarm area. If you are doing this area, it works, but may be easier to have another person help with. There is a light scent that is not overpowering.

This is the first time I've used any Nads product and I can say it did not disappoint. I used this for my bikini area and it was so simple to use and not painful (no more so than getting it done professionally) at all. The directions are excellent and easy to follow. I love that everything is reusable, and even after one use, still have a decent amount of wax left for next time. For some context, my bikini area is not very thick or coarse, so I really can not say how this would work on someone with thicker hair, and only speak from my experience. All I can say is I wish I found this sooner because I would have saved so much money doing it myself than going to a spa/salon. My grooming life has changed for the better from here on out.

Hi Nat,I just wanted to give you feedback on the sugar wax and waxing strips. I bought the tub of sugar wax, the sugar wax pre waxed srtrips and extra cotton strips. I always go to the salon to get my legs waxed, but as I live in Sydney, that's been impossible to get to the salon. I was very worried and concerned that I couldn't do it myself and it would be messy. I just wanted to say that I am REALLY impressed with how well it went! I am really impressed not only with my first ever full leg wax that I have ever done, but with the product itself. Really easy to use, no awful smell, totally fine on my skin. I am so impressed! I will be now looking at doing MORE home waxing and limiting my trips to the salon.

I love the fact that this wax is made from sugar which makes it so easy to remove any left over wax on your skin without any residue. I fins that traditional wax works maybe little bit better to get all the hair out, but I do hate getting rid of all the waxy residue that this is definitely a game changer for me!

I got this natural sugar wax for my legs and it really worked super well and was very easy to use. My only complaint is that afterwards my skin was a little irritated but it went away after about 20 minutes so I am not sure if that was just my reaction or if that was normal but I really loved how smooth I was after this and how efficient it was.

I purchased Nad’s 100% Natural Sugar Wax Kit from amazon.This is the first time I have used a Nad’s product for waxing my legs and I am very impressed! It was a bit hard to spread the wax at first so I popped it in the microwave for a few seconds. I couldn't believe how pain-free it was. Hi! I’m a new customer who discovered you guys on Amazon. I was looking for an easy, not super messy sugar wax for my legs, and decided to try your product out. It’s the best I’ve tried so far! I’ve ever tried making my own with sugar, lemon juice, and water, and it didn’t quite work the same. My legs get really sensitive from shaving and I often get red, itchy bumps if I shave against the grain, but this has solved that issue for me. I just wanted you guys to know - maybe you could use that messaging in ads or something (just an idea since I’m sure there are others like me!). The one thing I was hoping to find is a refill product that’s just the wax — no cloths, soap, or sticks. I have too many of those things now, and I’m not going through them as fast as the wax, so it’s a bit wasteful, in my opinion. Just wanted to share the feedback and say thanks for making a great product.

Hi! I’m a new customer who discovered you guys on Amazon. I was looking for an easy, not super messy sugar wax for my legs, and decided to try your product out. It’s the best I’ve tried so far! I’ve ever tried making my own with sugar, lemon juice, and water, and it didn’t quite work the same. My legs get really sensitive from shaving and I often get red, itchy bumps if I shave against the grain, but this has solved that issue for me. I just wanted you guys to know - maybe you could use that messaging in ads or something (just an idea since I’m sure there are others like me!). The one thing I was hoping to find is a refill product that’s just the wax — no cloths, soap, or sticks. I have too many of those things now, and I’m not going through them as fast as the wax, so it’s a bit wasteful, in my opinion. Just wanted to share the feedback and say thanks for making a great product.

Hi, I recently went into Ulta with the intention of looking for a waxing product that would work for me. I had never used Nads sugar wax before and this was an amazing experience! My leg hair came off with ease, as I usually have a hard time getting the thick hair to come off. This is my new favorite product and I will continue to use it from here on out!
